23five and Torturing Nurse sponsor 2pi Festival ‘06

In response to our plea a couple of days ago, Oakland-based sound artist Randy H.Y. Yau and Shanghai-based Junky have made the decision of donating some of their releases for sell on 2pi Festival 2006.

All sales go to the organizer of the festival.

Yau donates the following items:

  • 5x Jujikan double cd (Sound from Japan) 23five + SFMOMA release
  • 5x 33RPM cd (Sound from France) 23five + SFMOMA release
  • 5x Variable Resistance (Sound from Australia) 23five + SFMOMA release
  • 5x R. H.Y. YAU “Coagulation“, Auscultare
  • 5x R. H.Y. YAU + Dave Phillips “Illusion is a Natural Condition“, Auscultare
  • 2x Zbigniew Karkowski + Tetsuo Furudate “World As Will II“, 23five

Except for Jujikan, all the items will be sold for 90 yuan (about $11) each. Jujikan (2 CDs) will be sold for 120 yuan (about $15).

Junky donates a dozen of Torturing Nurse’s releases, including but not limited to these:

  • Torturing Nurse/Implied Flare split (xvp, CDR)
  • Torturing Nurse - In Ruins (shasha, 3-inch CDR)
  • Gingagaruga + Torturing Nurse - Pesto Nirvana (shasha, CDR)

    • Two copies each, 30 yuan per copy.
