Echo Ho

Cologne

 

Echo Ho is a Cologne-based media artist. Born in Beijing, she studied Film and Television at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and graduated from the Cologne Media Arts Academy in 2003. In her work, she combines various disciplines and aims at pursuing a minimal transition between reality and narration of the states of our mind. Shifting from poetic video installations from 99 on to distinctive social network performance concepts, her current development draws her towards digital audiovisual group improvisation, mainly relying on open source software such as PD or SuperCollider. She works with Hannes Hoelzl (Italy ) Earweego (Media art duo), doing electro / real time audiovisual improvised performance and installation.
